Sharpening the Saw: SOP Training at Canpac

At Canpac, we believe continuous learning is the key to continuous improvement. As part of our commitment to building skilled, efficient, and empowered teams, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training was conducted in 2018 as a vital part of our employee development journey.

The hands-on training, led by our experienced Machine Technicians, was specially designed for plant operators and focused on practical, on-the-job learning. Operators were trained on:

• Effective use of machine control knobs
• Preventive maintenance practices
• Right material handling for each process
• Steps to avoid breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted production

The goal was simple yet powerful — to optimize machine utilization, enhance safety, and increase overall efficiency on the production floor. By equipping our operators with the right knowledge and technical know-how, we aim to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
